Flower Patterns

Here are some great patterns that we have found around the web. We can always use flowers in shades of soft pink and purple for our Rapunzel wigs.

Please remember not to work on your projects if you or anyone in your house is sick. These kids are very susceptible to illness. Thanks!!

How do I get started?

The first step is using a soft pre-approved yarn. We recommend using Caron Simply Soft, Red Heart Soft, Deborah Norville Everyday Soft, and Yarn Bee Soft Secret. Next check the Yarn Choice Color Chart for the specific colors we use to create the wigs. Then use the Beanie Pattern to create your first beanie! (There are lots of tips and tricks on the pattern to help you along.) If you would like to create some much needed flowers and crowns and other accessories for the wigs please see the patterns below. We would love to meet you at one of our meetings that are posted in our Facebook Group. If you do not live nearby or can not attend we can still use your help!

You can send items to us at: Halo Keepers, 9526 Argyle Forest Blvd, Suite B2 Box 315, Jacksonville, Fl 32222

Tiara and Crown Patterns

The tiara and crowns need to fit across the front of the wigs but not go all the way around the head. Some of the patterns you find might need to be adjusted. Please make these in gold colors or to match a princess you had in mind.

What we need:

-Our beanie supply is running low! We need lots of beanies to make our wigs. All colors are needed for our inventory but white, brown and black and especially appreciated at this time.

-Elsa is a very popular request. We are in need of crowns and matching snowflakes. Please use an "Elsa blue" color when making these and use the 11" tiara on this pattern

-We need hundreds of flowers to create our Rapunzel wigs! Please use soft color pinks and purples.

-Ariel wigs are completed with a beautiful starfish. These look great in sea shell tones as well as teal.

-We could always use crowns in gold and yellow. Caron Simply Soft in Sunshine is a preferred yarn choice. The smaller version of this pattern works up nicely for our needs.

(See below for more patterns mentioned above.)
